Federico Fellini (1920-1993) was an Italian screenwriter and film director, considered one of the most respected and influential filmmakers of all time. Known for his unique style that combines fantasy and earthiness. His film career lasted about 50 years, during which he won the Cannes Film Festival's Golden Palm Award, was nominated 12 times for the Academy Award and four of his films won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
