Time capsule

A time capsule is a special creation that is prepared in the present and "launched" to a future point in time - a letter, photo, painting or any item that displays the now and will be saved for a certain moment in the future. The goal is to convert an authentic experience into a tangible memory that we would like to preserve and meet in another year, another decade or even in a few decades. The use of a time capsule can be personal, family or even human in general which can help historians learn about the period in which the capsule was buried. Creating a personal, couple or family capsule strengthens the interpersonal relationship and the self and invites a unique meeting in the future with experiences from the past, a connection in the inner sequence and a reminder of forgotten things.

From childhood we were fascinated by the idea of ​​sending a message to the future and enjoyed making time capsules and even more open and excited after many years. Even how embarrassing to admit, around the age of bat mitzvah we wrote letters to our future husband 🙂 and between us even today we write letters and meet ourselves on the tour. You can turn the time capsule from something personal to something shared by you and your spouse or for a family or group activity. Choose a significant date and return to write letters to each other (without showing of course), decorate, draw and bury them inside the shared capsule.
