More information about the product

A round drawing plate made of plastic. Suitable for diluting and mixing acrylic paints, gouache paints, oil paints and watercolors. Has 10 small sockets for filling color and a central socket in the middle of the plate for mixing the colors. Convenient solution for organizing and using colors during painting. The braces are easy to clean with soap and hot water.

When painting in wet media, oil paints, acrylics, gouache and water, it is necessary to mix the colors and reach the desired shade. It is recommended to do this by using a painting plate and not directly on the canvas or painting substrate to prevent dirt and mistakes. Paints for painting come in different containers, flasks or jars. In the case of a jar, you can take paint directly from the jar using a brush, but it is best to avoid this and use a palette, so as not to soil the paint in the jar and keep the original shade. In the case of a tube, there is no other way to use the paint other than to take it out on some surface before taking the paint, and for that purpose braces are intended. When removing paint into a plate, it is advisable to start with a very small amount and add more paint when needed. Using a plate with sockets is highly recommended for children, who tend to mix all the colors into one brown mixture.

You can preserve the colors that have been placed on the palette and have not yet dried to continue painting another time. Wrap in cling film and store in the refrigerator. This can extend the freshness of the paint by several days.
