Creating handmade key chains is a useful art that is suitable for children and adults and is recommended as an activity for the whole family. Keychains can be made from a variety of materials - here are our recommendations:

Polymer clay - Excellent material for miniature sculpture, game figures, crafts, beads and jewelry. After baking it can be drilled, sanded and painted. The clay is soft, flexible and non-toxic, convenient to use and work, for designing and creating delicate and tiny items, easy to mix colors and create new shades. When the design is finished, bake the piece in the home oven. It is advisable to pre-create the hole to which you will attach the metal key ring.

Clay Dry - Non-toxic material, child-friendly, pleasant to the touch with a uniform and delicate texture, ready to use, dries in air and does not require burning. At the end and after complete drying, you can paint with gouache paints, acrylic paints or spray paint. After painting, it is advisable to spray and cover with lacquer spray for a glossy effect, strengthening and preservation. Here, too, it is advisable to create the hole to which you will attach the metal key ring in advance. 

Crystal enamel - A liquid material that is difficult to mix and is intended for molding in silicone molds for making jewelry, keychains, cups, bowls and other decorative utensils. The crystalline enamel comes transparent and a concentrated color can be added to the mixture during the mixing stage. Also, glitter, flowers, beads, oysters and all kinds of ornaments and decorations that you would like to add to your creation. The metal keychain should be inserted into the mixture when it has not yet hardened in the mold.
