Mont Marte watercolor set

The set includes 12 shades in 12 ml sparklers: Chinese white, lemon yellow, ocher yellow, vermilion red, crimson red, purple violet, Prussian blue, viridian green, sap green, burnt sienna, burnt umber, lamp black. Solid water or watercolor pencils, a set recommended for beginners.

Watercolor painting is common in the art world, beloved by children and adults alike. Watercolors express airiness, lightness, movement, flow, light and transparency. They summon an aesthetic spiritual experience, through the connection created between body, emotion and thought.

Watercolors are considered a popular medium for outdoor painting. Unlike other types of painting, it requires little preparation and minimal equipment. Therefore it is possible to paint comfortably in watercolor on long journeys, on walks or in front of an urban landscape sitting in a cafe. Watercolors dry quickly, making it easy to paint in layers and capture dynamic situations on the page.

Watercolors can be used on many painting substrates, including cardboard, canvas, wall and more, but are usually painted on thick paper and specially adapted for absorption, called watercolor paper. You can paint on a dry sheet and dip the brush in water or dilute the paint with water on a plate. Another method is to wet the page at the beginning. When used with water, different levels of transparency can be created, ranging from a fine transparent layer to an opaque layer. You can work in several layers to achieve complexity of color and texture. When the painting is finished with watercolor paints and dried, in order to protect the painting from moisture and weather damage, it is recommended to frame it under opaque glass.
