To make plaster reliefs from the molds you will need gypsum powder, in addition a bowl or vessel for making the plaster with water, a spatula for mixing and a mold support.

The process of preparing the gypsum for casting for the mold is short and simple, but it is important to work continuously and quickly: pour water according to the desired amount into a mixing bowl and gradually add gypsum powder up to the level of the water. Mix gently with a spatula and without creating bubbles until the mixture is uniform, smooth and thick. Now you have to act quickly and pour the liquid plaster into the mold since the plaster starts to harden in a few minutes. Pour the mixture into the mold, shake lightly to remove air bubbles and allow the liquid gypsum to harden for about half an hour. After the plaster has hardened, carefully extract the moist relief from the mold and leave to dry. Drying time varies depending on the size of the shape and the temperature in the room and ranges from a day to several days. After complete drying, the relief is ready for painting and decoration.
