The Ojibwa people spread to all corners of America and it became difficult for Ashibikashi to reach the children. That's why the mothers and grandmothers wove magical spider webs for children from willow tree hoops and tendons or threads made from plants. The dream catchers filtered out the bad dreams and let only good thoughts enter. When the sun would rise, the bad dreams would simply disappear.
